For over twenty years Alaska String Camps, Inc. has been providing unique orchestral and small group experiences for violin, viola, cello, and bass students from Alaska and across the country. Located at scenic Birchwood Camp in Chugiak, Alaska String Camps combines the artistic enrichment of first-rate music educators with all the excitement of an overnight camp.

Our goal is to inspire young string students through the magic of making music together. The orchestra and small groups are taught by fantastic teachers in a beautiful camp setting. We seek to inspire students to continue with their music education. String Camp is where learning and fun merge!

Three overnight camps are offered, one each for elementary, middle school, and high school students. Campers remain on site at all times.
